Impact of climate changes on forestry to be discussed at conference organized by Moldovan Presidency

Chisinau, 24 November /MOLDPRES/ - The climate changes and their consequences on the agriculture and forestry from Moldova are the key subjects due to be discussed at a topic-related conference organized by the Presidency, in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Moldova and the Embassy of Sweden. The conference will be opened by head of state Maia Sandu.
During the day, the participants will look for practical solutions, taking into account the specific feature of Moldova and will come up with recommendations, in order to enhance the resilience of the two sectors to the climate changes. For a more efficient cooperation, a platform of interaction between researchers, decision-makers and practitioners in the field will be launched.
The conference will take place at the headquarters of Digital Park in Chisinau.
