Moldovan, American officials broach topical issues

Chisinau, Dec. 8 /MOLDPRES/- President Maia Sandu had a meeting with congressman David Price, Chairman of the House Democracy Partnership and August Pfluger, Representative of Intelligence and Counterterrorism Subcommittee.

According to the presidential press service, the head of state mentioned the importance of the political support of the US Congress, implicitly of the House Democracy Partnership for the democratic transformations in Moldova.

Maia Sandu expressed gratitude for the support of American partners in carrying out reforms and strengthening public institutions in Moldova, as well as for the assistance offered to deal with the multiple crises we are going through.

The head of state thanked David Price for the unconditional support offered to the Republic of Moldova over the years and for all the initiatives launched within the Friendship Group with our country.
