Moldovan foreign affairs minister has meeting with Supreme Allied Commander Europe

Chisinau, 13 December /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Nicu Popescu has had a meeting with Supreme Allied Commander Europe Christopher Cavoli, during his agenda at the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) in the Mons city, Belgium, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s (MAEIE) press service has reported.

The two officials referred to the regional situation, efforts to strengthen Moldova’s defence capacities, aspects of the carrying out of the Partnership for Peace Programme, as well as Moldova’s contribution to the peacekeeping operations – as contributor to the international efforts of ensuring the regional security.
