Moldovan PM participates in event on finishing of EU High-Level Advisers Mission

Chisinau, 13 December /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita today participated in an event on the finishing of a project financed by the European Union, EU High-Level Advisers Mission. The participants in the action summed up the work carried out during four years, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
Attending the event were Education Minister Anatolie Topala, Government’s Secretary General Igor Talmazan, Head of the European Union’s Delegation in Moldova Jānis Mažeiks, diplomats, representatives of institutions benefitting from the support of the High-Level Advisers.
PM Gavrilita thanked the representatives of the EU’s Embassy in Chisinau for the project’s successful implementation and reaffirmed the government’s support for the continuity of the assistance mission in a boosted form.
„EU’s assistance programme through the high-level advisers’ mission has proved to be one of the most efficient support programmes in the working out of public policies and resulted in numerous reforms and modernizations in the public system of Moldova. At this point, the needed transformations and reforms have a clear-cut roadmap, imposed by our goal of accession to EU and the expertise of the EU high-level advisers will be extremely valuable in this process,’’ Natalia Gavrilita said.
The PM also set the necessity to extend the fields of cooperation with the EU High-Level Advisers Mission, with reference to agriculture, competition and transports’ sector, which are of special importance in the European integration process.
During four years, the EU High-Level Advisers Mission has provided support for the development of capacities needed for the enforcement of the Association Agreement, having an essential role in the achievement of important phases in Moldova’s European way.
