Price of permits for road transport operators to decrease

Chisinau, 14 Dec. /MOLDPRES/- A draft law that provides for measures to support the activity of road transport operators was examined today within the Parliamentary Commission for Economy, Budget and Finance.

The document provides for the reduction of the price from 580 to 240 euros for an annual CEMT (European Conference of Transport Ministers) multilateral authorization, with a road record. The short-term ones will be cheaper from 50 to 20 euros, and the single price of the authorization for international road transport of goods will be 5 euros.

At the same time, the project provides for the elimination of the need to pay customs duty for road tractors for semi-trailers, up to 7 years old. It is also proposed to extend the operating term up to 10 years for vehicles intended for the transport of at least 10 people, including the driver. The change in question will allow the renewal of the fleet of transport units used to serve regular services.
