IT parks' employees to be able to practice distance work in Moldova

Chisinau, 22 December /MOLDPRES/ - The employees of the IT parks’ residents will have right to carry out distance work, either in Moldova or abroad. The parliament approved a draft law to this end in the first reading today.

The draft also sees the extension of the list of activities allowed to be carried out in the information technology parks. The concerned activities imply, to a great extent, the use of highly advanced computer equipment, which has growth potential. Yet, for the time being, they do not benefit from the provisions of the legislation on information technology parks.

At the same time, the lawmakers propose extension of the sources of financing of the IT park’s administration, as well as obliging the carrying out of the annual verification for the residents who enforce the concerned fiscal regime for the IT parks.
