In 2023, patients to have increased access to high-performance diagnostic medical services

Chisinau, Jan 5. /MOLDPRES/- National Health Insurance Company (CNAM) management announced today that it has procured several high-performance diagnostic medical services (SIP) for 2023.

Among the services that will become more accessible are: computed tomography, nuclear magnetic resonance, colonoscopy, endoscopy, laboratory investigations, nuclear medicine, medical imaging, echocardiography, radiodiagnostic investigations, coronary angiography. Thus, these high-performance services were procured for the first time by programs, and not by lump sums, as was the case until now. For this purpose, 20 programs were created that correspond to the services in annex No5 of the Single Program of Compulsory Medical Assistance Insurance (AOAM).

CNAM also reminds that starting from January 1, 2023, the contracting and recording of high-performance medical services is carried out only through the Reporting and recording of medical services information system (SIRSM). Insured persons can schedule online high-performance medical services through SIRSM, by accessing the link https://sirsm.cnam.gov.md/sirsm/online. In the information system, appointments can be made for a period of up to three months.

CNAM concluded contracts with 34 public providers and 31 private providers, and the total value of the contracts is about 255 million 212 thousand lei (about 1.3 million euros). The largest SIP provider is the Republican Center for Medical Diagnostics. The value of the contract signed with this institution is 90.8 million lei, about 21 million more than the contractual amount from the beginning of last year. The value of the SIP contract with the Oncological Institute is 14.6 million lei, an increase of over 1.26 million compared to the contractual amount from the beginning of 2022.
