Head of CNAMUP suspended from office

Chisinau, 16 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- Natalia Catanoi was suspended from the position of head of the National Center for Prehospital Emergency Care. An order to this effect was signed by Minister of Health Ala Nemerenco.

The order also states that an internal investigation was initiated at CNAMUP "in order to elucidate the facts that led to faulty management in emergency situations". It is also said that a commission of inquiry is being established in this case.

Natalia Catanoi said she will appeal the suspension order.

Natalia Catanoi was appointed as director of IMSP National Center for Prehospital Emergency Care in March 2022 following a competition. She graduated from the Grete Popa University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Iasi in 2001.
