Moldovan president, Greek PM discuss bilateral relations

Chisinau, 19 January /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu in Davos discussed the Moldovan-Greek relations with Prime Minister of Greece Kyriakos Mitsotakis. ‘’We are set to boost the cooperation in more sectors, especially in the energy one, taking into account the enhancement of the role of Greece in supplying Europe with liquefied gas,’’ Maia Sandu said.
According to the presidential press service, the head of state along with Kyriakos Mitsotakis appreciated the very good relations in the social sector, consolidated through the agreement in the social security field, which entered into force on 1 January 2023. The Moldovan president also asked for the support of the Greek partners in speeding up the negotiations for Moldova’s accession to the European Union.
