Activity at Moldovan-Ukrainian border crossing points suspended

Chisinau, 22 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- Border Police announced that today the activity at the Moldovan-Ukrainian border crossing points was suspended, because the database at the State Border Service of Ukraine is not working.

"In fact, at this time there is heavy traffic in the PTF Palanca - Maiaki Udobnoe, several means of transport are waiting in both directions of travel," explained the cited source.

The Border Police urged travelers to show understanding and calm in the situation. "The specialists are working to remove the deficiencies and resume the normal activity of the border crossing points", according to the institution.
