Transnistrian militia abused minor in Bender

Chisinau, 26 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- At today's meeting of the Joint Control Commission (JCC), the Moldovan Delegation reported the abuse against a minor, committed by members of the Transnistrian structures in Bender (district with increased security regime) on 20 January 2023. The law enforcers have launched an investigation into this unprecedented case, the Reintegration Policy Office has reported.

The delegation of the Republic of Moldova to JCC will come back to the issue as soon as the circumstances of the crime are clarified in the investigation.

The JCC agenda includes as a priority the need to withdraw the control posts unilaterally installed in the Security Zone by the Transnistrian force structures.
