Moldovan president congratulates State Protection and Guard Service officers on institution's 31st anniversary

Chisinau, 27 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu conveyed a congratulatory message to representatives of the State Protection and Guard Service on professional day and the institution's 31st anniversary.

According to the presidential press service, the head of state thanked the officers for the work done at the highest standards to ensure the security of the state and congratulated them on the results achieved.

This year, Moldova will host the biggest international event in the country's history, the European Political Community, where more than 40 heads of state and government are expected: "The safety of all these leaders is in your hands and a lot of work will be needed, excellent organization and maximum responsibility on the part of each of you to succeed. I am confident we will succeed!", the head of state said.

Also, Maia Sandu conferred several state awards for the institution's employees, as a sign of appreciation for their professionalism and work.
