Moldovan driving licenses became valid in Turkey

Chisinau, Jan 30. /MOLDPRES/- Moldovan driving licenses have become valid in Turkey.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MAI), on January 14, the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the Government of the Republic of Turkey on the conversion and mutual recognition of driving licenses entered into force.

Thus, Moldovan citizens residing in Turkey can benefit from the provisions of the Agreement when exchanging driving licenses, issued by the competent authorities of the Republic of Moldova.

"The conclusion of the driver's license conversion agreement produces beneficial effects for the citizens of the Republic of Moldova and ensures their free movement in international traffic, as well as allowing them to conclude advantageous employment contracts in the road transport", a press release of MAI reads.
