Law on non-discrimination reviewed

Chisinau, Feb. 2 /MOLDPRES/- The deadline for the entry into force of the Law amending some normative acts to revise legal framework on non-discrimination and ensuring equality was changed by the parliament.
The document was reviewed after in the context of the promulgation procedure of the Law, the Moldovan president submitted an objection related to the date of its entry into force.
The revision of the normative framework on non-discrimination and ensuring equality was carried out to remove deficiencies and improve the protection mechanisms against discrimination, as well as ensure the correspondence of the national legal framework with international standards in the field.
