Revenues worth 7.2 billion lei collected in Moldova's national public budget in last January

Chisinau, 3 February /MOLDPRES/ - Revenues worth 7.2 billion lei (about 360 million euros) were collected in the national public budget in last January, which is by 1.4 billion lei more against the same period of 2022.
According to the Finance Ministry, the expenses amounted to 7.3 billion lei, which are by 1.2 billion lei higher against January, last year. The fulfillment of the national public budget resulted in a deficit of 0.1 billion lei. The balances of financial means in the accounts components of the national public budget stood at 8.2 billion lei.
The state’s budget’s revenues amounted to 4.5 billion lei in January 2023, which is by 0.9 billion lei more against the same period of the year before.
The revenues managed by the State Fiscal Service (SFS) stood at 2.1 billion lei, up by 0.3 billion lei against the same period of the previous year. At the same time, the revenues managed by the Customs Service amounted to 2.7 billion lei, increasing by 0.8 billion lei.
The state budget’s expenditures were fulfilled in an amount of 5.3 billion lei, up by 0.8 billion lei against the same period of 2022. The fulfillment of the state budget resulted in a deficit of 0.8 billion lei and the balances of financial means in the state budget’s accounts stood at 4 billion lei.
The Finance Ministry ensured the honouring of all payment commitments for January this year, with all payments fully financed.
