Moldovan speaker pays official visit to Sweden

Chisinau, Feb. 6 /MOLDPRES/- Speaker Igor Grosu pays an official visit to Sweden on 6-9 February at the invitation of his Swedish counterpart, the parliament's communication and public relations department has reported.
In Stockholm, the official will meet Speaker Andreas Norlén and representatives of several parliamentary committees. He will have meetings at the Government with Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, Minister for EU Affairs Jessika Roswall and Minister for Defense Pål Jonson.
The business environment in the country and the opportunities to boost Moldovan-Swedish commercial exchanges will be discussed at the meetings with the representatives of the relevant ministry, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Swedish Agency for Assistance, president of Stockholm City Council Olle Burell and representative members of the local business community.
According to the agenda, Igor Grosu will have a meeting with Moldovan citizens who live, study or work in the Kingdom of Sweden and visit Uppsala city.
The parliamentary delegation is made up of the president of the Foreign Policy and European Integration Commission, Doina Gherman, the president of the National Security, Defense and Public Order Commission, Lilian Carp, the president of the Public Finance Control Commission, Tatiana Cunetchi, and the president of the Economy, Budget and Finance Commission, Radu Marian.
