Energy block No 2 of Termoelectrica heating supply company disconnected

Chisinau, 15 February /MOLDPRES/ - The energy block No 2 of the Termoelectrica stock company has been disconnected. The incident occurred today morning and the enterprise gave assurances that all consumers were presently supplied with thermal energy.

The Termoelectrica team verifies the reason for the disconnection.

„The hydraulic regime is within the pre-established limits. Thus, all consumers are supplied with thermal energy. The entity presently produces 90 MWh, of which 80 MWh - at the thermal electric power station 2 (CET 2), Source 1,’’ a press release by Termoelectrica reads.

On 4 February, the work of the energy block 1 from Termoelectrica was ceased for a ten-day period, in order to carry out maintenance works. It was brought into service on 13 February. At the same time, in November 2022, an emergency shutdown of the energy block No 3 took place and the block has been non-functional so far.
