Public illumination system from central Moldova village modernized

Chisinau, 16 February /MOLDPRES/ - The public illumination system from the Harbovat village, central Anenii Noi district, has been modernized. The project was included in the European Village Programme and its value is of more than one million lei (50,000 euros). The money was allocated from the National Fund for Regional and Local Development (FNDRL).
According to the National Office of Regional and Local Development (ONDRL), over 11 km of public illumination was constructed in all and beneficiaries of the project are those over 2,000 residents of the Harbovat village.
The European Village Programme comprises 16 projects from which the residents of the Anenii Noi district will benefit. Their value is of about 79 million lei. Three of the projects have been already implemented. Thus, the drinking water supply system was rehabilitated in the Roscani village and the kindergarten was modernized in the Chetrosu commune.
The European Village Programme contains 496 projects on development of Moldova’s settlements. About 2 billion lei is allocated from FNDRL for their carrying out.
