Moldovan MPs to participate in winter session of OSCE Parliamentary Assembly

Chisinau, 22 February /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova’s delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE PA), led by MP Veronica Rosca, will participate in the 22nd winter session of OSCE PA, due to start on 23 February.

According to the parliament’s communication and public relations department, the delegation is made up of Vasile Bolea and Igor Chiriac.

The general discussion at the 2023 year winter session will be focused on the one-year wide scale Russia’s war underway in Ukraine. The meeting’s agenda will include reports of OSCE PA’s Special Representatives on the Eastern Europe, the parliamentary dialogue on Ukraine, political prisoners and the war crimes in Ukraine.

The meeting will also include sessions of the three general committees of the Parliamentary Assembly – political affairs and security; Economic affairs, science, technologies and environment; Democracy, human rights and humanitarian issues.
