New bridge to be constructed across Prut river, another two ones to be repaired

Chisinau, 23 February /MOLDPRES/ - The Romanian government on 22 February approved three memorandums which see the approval of the negotiation and signing of bilateral agreements between Moldova and Moldova on the construction and repair of bridges across the Prut river.  

It is about the agreement on the road bridge across the Prut river between the settlements Oancea (Romania) and Cahul (Moldova); agreement on the road bridge across the Prut river between the settlements Albita (Romania) and Leuseni (Moldova); Agreement on the road bridge across the Prut river between the settlements Sculeni (Romania) and Sculeni (Moldova).    

Under the decision of Romanian ministers, a road bridge will be built across the Prut river between settlements Albita (Romania) and Leuseni (Moldova), due to meet all technical requirements in constructions for a movement in safety and comfort.   

At the same time, competent people will carry out works of modernization and maintenance of the road bridges across the Prut river between the settlements Sculeni (Romania) and Sculeni (Moldova), as well as between the settlements Oancea (Romania) and Cahul (Moldova). The two bridges are in an advanced state of degradation and the rehabilitation and consolidation works are necessary for easing of the traffic and its carrying out in conditions of safety.
