Landowners can apply for land project subsidies

Chisinau, March 3. /MOLDPRES/- Land owners can apply for advance subsidy requests for investment projects on land improvement works, soil protection. The applications can be submitted by 7 March.

The subsidies represent 80% of the value of the eligible project. "The money will be offered for the activities to prevent and combat soil erosion on agricultural lands affected by erosion, for chemical improvement as well as for the preservation and increase of soil fertility", the Ministry of Agriculture and Regional Development (MAIA) said.

Applicants who will promote initiatives to prevent soil erosion, chemical improvement and increase its fertility will be able to benefit from subsidies. The subsidy applicant can be a legal entity/private person or a first-level administrative-territorial unit, who owns or uses land, and is going to implement the project in a first-level administrative-territorial unit.
