Moldovan fine artist exhibits works at Presidency's headquarters

Chisinau, 8 March /MOLDPRES/ - A painting exhibition of fine artist, Master in Art Igor Svernei was inaugurated at the Moldovan Presidency today.

Contacted by MOLDPRES, Igor Svernei said the exhibition comprised 36 painting works. ‘’Most works have been made in the last years. There are works related to my native settlement, the war in Ukraine, what happened in the Royal Forest some years ago, abstract paintings, etc.,’’ the author said.

Igor Svernei was born in the Donduseni village, the homonymous district, on 16 October 1972. He is laureate of prestigious prizes at national and international contests of contemporary art. The works of Igor Svernei are found in public collections from Moldova and Romania, as well as in private collections from abroad: Canada, China, France, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, the Netherlands, Romania, USA, Turkey, Ukraine and other countries.

The exhibition will be opened till next July.
