Moldova-IMF cooperation discussed at Presidency

Chisinau, 9 March /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today had a meeting with a delegation of the International Monetary Fund, led by IMF Director of the European Department Alfred Kammer.
According to the presidential press service, the officials referred to the regional situation and the one in Moldova, which is complicated, but stable.
President Maia Sandu stressed that the priorities of the governance were the maintenance of peace and stability, overcoming the crisis in the energy sector and the revival of the economy. The head of state touched upon the need to enhance the access of the business to cheaper financing, the investments necessary to strengthen the energy security and to adapt to the climate changes.
