Chisinau, March 10. /MOLDPRES/- Solidarity Fund PL in Moldova, in partnership with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development will launch the Synergy for Urban Development Fund (FSDU) - 2023-2024 edition. FSDU supports cities in the Republic of Moldova that want to implement integrated urban development projects, applying the synergy of national and foreign funds.

Within the FSDU 2023-2024, it is foreseen to provide co-financing for all intervention measures for urban development projects, the economic and social revitalization of cities, financed from the sources of the National Regional and Local Development Fund (FNDRL), November 2022 edition.

Co-financing involves providing financial sources for the economic and social-civic components, as well as for small-scale infrastructure interventions of urban development projects, selected for financing from FNDRL sources. Thus, all the activities co-financed by Solidarity Fund PL in Moldova are complementary and intend to bring added value to the project financed from the sources of the FNDRL.

Solidarity Fund PL in Moldova is the representation of Solidarity Fund PL, a state foundation, managed and co-financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, created to contribute to the development of neighboring countries. Since 2012, based on the Memorandum of Understanding, signed between Poland and the Republic of Moldova, the organization helps to strengthen local communities through the opportunities created together with local and international partners. Based on international development models, the emphasis is on improving the quality of life. The organization promotes a systemic approach designed to contribute to the processes of harnessing the potential of communities.
