Moldova to have access to EU for Health programme

Chisinau, March 16. /MOLDPRES/- The Republic of Moldova will have access to financing from the European Union for the implementation of projects in the health sector. Parliament ratified today the EU - Moldova agreement on association with the EU for Health programme.
Thus, Moldova will be able to participate in project competitions to get funding as grants, awards and public procurement. The projects target five priority sectors – disease prevention, crisis preparedness, health system and medical personnel, digitization of health systems and cancer prevention. The total budget of the program is 5.3 million euros.
It will be implemented by 2027.
