Romanian president says Moldova to receive additional assistance on behalf EU

Chisinau, 23 March /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova will receive an additional solid assistance on behalf of the European Union. Romanian President Klaus Iohannis made statements to this effect in Brussels today, before participating in the meeting of the spring European Council.
The official noted that it is ‘’inadmissible for Moldova to be let to become a victim of misinformation, hybrid attacks and verbal threats on behalf of Russia.’’ ‘’A special item I would like to mention: in conclusions, we have managed – our colleagues got involved very much – we managed to include a relevant excerpt for Moldova. Moldova will receive an additional solid assistance on behalf of EU and this we believe is quite important for Moldova, as well as for us and for the entire Europe, as it is inadmissible for us to let Moldova become a victim of misinformation, hybrid attacks and verbal threats on behalf of Russia,’’ the Romanian head of state said before taking part in the meeting of the spring European Council.
The meeting of the spring European Council is held in Brussels on 23-24 March.
