Chisinau, 25 March /MOLDPRES/ - MP Irina Lozovan has informed that she left the parliamentary faction of the Bloc of Communists and Socialists. Lozovan said that she left the Moldovan Party of Socialists (PSRM).
Irina Lozovan also said that she would become an independent lawmaker and would join the Movement for People.
„When people delegated us as MPs, they obliged us to fight for their legitimate rights and interests. We should have become that very pillar which was not afraid of defending the common interest for the sake of the country’s well-being. Unfortunately, PSRM cannot survive without a leader,’’ the lawmaker said.
Irina Lozovan is the second MP to leave the faction of the Bloc of Communists and Socialists. In the middle of the last week, parliamentarian Alexandr Nesterovschi made a similar announcement.
