Moldovan capital's municipal services intervene to remove consequences of damages triggered by strong wind

Chisinau, 28 March /MOLDPRES/ - All municipal services from the Moldovan capital are on the spot to remove the consequences of the damages triggered by the strong wind.
According to the Chisinau city hall, the employees of the municipal enterprise, Association of Green Areas’ Management, are involved in the cleaning and evacuation of trees fallen by the wind and sanitation of the adjacent areas.
At the same time, the employees of the Exdrupo Administration municipal enterprise intervene to reestablish the road signs fallen or damaged. Also, during the last night, the rain sewerage system was verified, in order to ensure its work as normal.
The local authorities urged the citizens to report problematic cases at the Central Municipal Controller’s Office - 022 22 22 67 or 022 22 26 04. They urged the people not to park under trees, to go outdoors only if necessary and to supervise children.
The State Hydrometeorological Service announced for today a Yellow Code of sharp weather change. Meteorologists forecast heavy precipitation (15-20 litres/square metre), and the north-eastern wind will have gustings of 18-23 metres/second.
