Chisinau, March 29 /MOLDPRES/- The Government's decision on proposal to extend the state of emergency was published today in the Official Journal. The document is to be presented to the Legislature for adoption.
"The proposal is submitted to the Parliament regarding the extension for a period of 60 days, starting from April 5, 2023, of the state of emergency throughout the territory of the Republic of Moldova," the document states.
The Government's decision was approved at the proposal of the Commission for Emergency Situations and enters into force upon publication in the Official Journal.
The government approved today the decision that provides for the extension of the state of emergency by 60 days. The need for the decision is argued by the continuation of the war in Ukraine, which also has an impact on our country.
The state of emergency in the Republic of Moldova was established on February 24, 2022, with the outbreak of the war in Ukraine.
