Moldovan president meets Polish PM

Chisinau, 6 April /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today had a meeting with Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki.

According to the presidential press service, the head of state appreciated the very good relation with Poland and the support enjoyed by Moldova on this complicated period.

„Last year, Moldova received Polish financial assistance, in order to cope with the energy crisis. The Polish government has recently donated 20 electric generators for health sector institutions and the ones of the General Police Inspectorate (IGP). Poland is the second biggest importer of Moldovan wines from EU and the Moldovan-Polish business forum took place in Chisinau today, which will contribute to the consolidation of the economic relations between our countries. We appreciate much also the fact that Poland fully supports Moldova’s European aspirations,’’ President Maia Sandu said.
