Moldovan swimmers climbed podium at international tournament in Greece

Chisinau, April 13 /MOLDPRES/- Eight swimmers from the Republic of Moldova climbed the podium at the international tournament in Greece, the National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOS) announced today.
According to CNOS, Tudor Vartic from Chisinau won two gold medals at the senior level: 200 and 800 meters freestyle, with the results 1.55.89 and 8.32.95. In the youth category he was chosen the best swimmer of the competition.
Natalia Zaițeva, Chirill Chirsanov, Daria Ziuzina, Ivan Toropitin (Tiraspol), Alexandra Ablovatskaia, Cristian Damaschin (both - Chisinau) and Alexandr Carnauh (Balți) also climbed the podium.
