Chisinau, 12 May /MOLDPRES/ - Ukraine has informed about the implementation of a new electronic system, eCherha, at the border crossing points in the West direction, which allows facilitating the operations in the road transport sector. The National Motor Transport Agency (ANTA) made statements to this effect today.
According to ANTA, the eCherha electronic system was enforced by Ukraine for the goods transport units, at 16 border checkpoints, in order to facilitate the road transport sector, with direct benefit brought to the transport operators, through optimizing the time and processes in the professional activity.
The users of the aforementioned system can make the registration in advance, in order to learn the pre-established time, when they should come to the border crossing point. At the same time, with the help of an application, they will receive notifications on their present status within the electronic queue. The instructions of registration in the system and the list of the border checkpoints where it is enforced are available on the electronic page, www.echerha.gov.ua.
ANTA noted that the eCherha system was functional as of 8 May 2023. At the same time, the Ukrainian authorities confirm that carriers who carry out road transport operations with bus/coach will be able to use the concerned system starting from next July and private people owning touring cars – as of August 2023.
