Employees to be able to benefit from sports vouchers in Moldova

Chisinau, 24 May /MOLDPRES/ - Employees will be able to benefit from sports vouchers, provided additionally to the basic salary. The members of the parliamentary commission for social protection, health and family today unanimously approved a draft on amendment of the legislation in this respect.

Thus, the sports vouchers will be able to be used for attending fitness halls, pools or for practicing amateur’s sport at various sports units or on football stadiums or tennis courts. The concerned instrument will have the same fiscal facilities as the meal tickets, but only will be meant for the purchasing of services in the sports sector.

At the same time, the draft envisages the extension of the right to direct 2 per cent of the taxable income and the deduction on fiscal purposes of the donations made for the specialized sports federations – members of the National Olympic and Sports Committee, professional sports clubs or sports associations of amateurs.
