Personal exhibition by Moldovan fine artist opened at National Library

Chisinau, 29 May /MOLDPRES/ - A personal painting exhibition by fine artist Valentina Brancoveanu today was opened at the headquarters of the National Library of Moldova (BNRM).
According to the organizers, works painted in various places from Ukraine, old homes painted in the landscape of the Chisinau city are displayed at the exhibition.
Valentina Brancoveanu was born in Chisinau on 24 October 1950. In 1971, she finished the I. Repin Fine Arts College from the Moldovan capital. She is member of the Fine Artists’ Union of Moldova (as of 1985). Brancoveanu staged more exhibitions in Moldova and abroad. Some of the painter’s works are preserved in collections of the National Fine Arts Museum from Chisinau, in Arts Museums from Klaipeda (Lithuania), as well as in private collections from Moldova, Romania, Bulgaria, France, the USA, Israel.
The exhibition will be opened till 31 August.
