Chisinau, 1 June /MOLDPRES/ - There is perspective of Moldova’s accession to the European Union and the European will of the people and the European way is quite clear. In continuation, Moldova must implement more necessary reforms. High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell today made statements to this effect in Chisinau, before the Summit of the European Political Community (EPC Summit).
„We should work on three things. To better connect the people to this political community, to stabilize our continent and ensure the security. Stability, security and connectivity are the three key words of this meeting from the perspective of edifying a common framework of policies for EU,’’ Josep Borrell said.
The official referred to the situation in the Transnistrian region. ‘’Moldova independently decides what happens with the Transnistrian region. Cyprus became EU member while having a territorial problem. Moldova can do this as well,’’ High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy said.
The delegations participating in the EPC Summit continue to arrive at the Mimi Castle from Bulboaca.
