Until today at 7:00 a.m., the national airspace was restricted to civil aircraft flights and other airspace use activities (gliders, hot air balloons, drones, etc.). Only the flights of aircraft carrying official delegations, which participated yesterday in the European Political Community Summit were allowed.

The airspace of the Republic of Moldova was closed between 00:00 (local time), June 1 - 07:00 (local time), June 2.

Several official delegations that participated in the Summit left our country yesterday evening, and another part will be in the Republic of Moldova today to continue the meetings and discussions with Chisinau authorities.

In this context, the law enforcers urge citizens to respect the rules of road traffic, to park cars only in designated places, to avoid blocking the roadway and routes in the security perimeters, as well as to have their identity documents.

Next, the authorities synchronize their actions to reduce the discomfort of traffic participants. At the same time, it relies on the cooperation of citizens with law enforcement, compliance with their requirements, compliance with the signs of police officers and compliance with traffic rules.

Yesterday, the Republic of Moldova hosted the most important political event in its history – the EPC Summit, which brought together 49 heads of state, prime ministers and senior European officials.
