Chisinau, July 21. /MOLDPRES/- Regulation on the activity of the constituency electoral council during the electoral period and Regulation on the activity of the electoral offices of the polling stations were published in the Official Journal today.

The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) decisions approving the two Regulations entered into force today, upon the publication in the Official Journal.

The new Regulations were approved by the CEC in the context of the adoption of the new Electoral Code, the provisions of which entered into force on January 1, 2023. Thus, the CEC has the obligation to approve a new version of around 50 regulations and instructions, as well as to work out and pass new normative acts.

On November 5, general local elections will be held in Moldova.
