Chisinau International Airport's decision to increase price of parking wrong, Moldovan Prime Minister says

Chisinau, Aug. 7 /MOLDPRES/- Chisinau International Airport's ruling to increase the price for car parking is wrong. Prime Minister Dorin Recean made the statement today, after last week information and criticism appeared in the public space on doubling the fee.

The official said he requested the review of the decision. “The problem of long-term parked cars blocking access for short-term parking for families and commuters can be solved differently. I requested the review of this decision", he said.

Last week, there were several reactions in the public space from passengers dissatisfied that the parking fee at the Chisinau International Airport was doubled, from 10 to 20 lei. Later, with a reaction in this case came the airport administrator, Constantin Vozian. He assured that the airport officials will come "with an extensive analysis of the parking activity, the price compared to other locations in Chisinau and to other capital airports at the international level, to justify this price even more, the fact that this is insufficient one".
