Eight agreements with CIS denounced by Moldovan parliament in recent months

Chisinau, August 11 /MOLDPRES/- In the spring session, the Parliament denounced eight agreements concluded on the platform of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
According to the parliament's communication and public relations department, the denounced documents relate to the energy, education, labor protection, standardization, liquidation of the consequences of emergency situations, free trade.
Among the denounced agreements are the Convention on Interparliamentary Assembly of CIS member states, the Agreement providing for the creation and activity of MIR company or the Agreement on interaction in the prevention and liquidation of the consequences of emergency situations of natural and man-made nature, concluded in Minsk on January 22, 1993. The Agreement on collaboration in the labor protection, the Agreement on promotion of a coordinated policy in the field of standardization, metrology and certification and the Agreement on the support and development of small entrepreneurship in the CIS member states. At the last meeting of the Parliament in the spring session of 2023, the cooperation agreement for the formation of the single (common) educational space within the CIS and the Agreement on technical barriers in the free trade area were also denounced.
Another six projects to denounce agreements with CIS are registered in the Parliament.
