New provisions for registering, terminating economic activity in Transnistrian region

Chisinau, August 14 /MOLDPRES/- The regularization of the traffic of goods and services representing the object of the foreign trade activity of the economic agents in the Transnistrian region, as well as the provision of electronic communications networks and services will be possible following the changes approved by the government, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.

The project aims at the gradual incorporation of economic agents from the left bank of the Dniester into the single economic and commercial space of the Republic of Moldova and the record of economic agents from the Transnistrian region.

In the new context, the term "provisional registration" will be used exclusively, which refers to the registration of economic agents from the Transnistrian region in the State Register of legal entities of the Republic of Moldova. It involves removing the terms "provisional registration" and "temporary registration".

Therefore, the provisional registration of both legal entities and private people - individual entrepreneurs of the Transnistrian region (who have already been registered) gives the right to provide electronic communications networks and services on the basis of a general authorization. Also, people will be able to obtain the necessary documents for carrying out economic activity, complete the documentation procedures for export-import operations and carry out banking transactions in the Republic of Moldova.

In case of termination of economic activity, legal entities and individual entrepreneurs from the Transnistrian region taken into account provisionally will be obliged to submit an application to the Public Services Agency, to request their exclusion from the State Register of legal entities of Moldova. This measure will ensure the correctness and updating of data in the information system.
