Registration period for National Award contest extended by one month

Chisinau, August 14 /MOLDPRES/- The deadline for applying for the National Award contest 2022 has been extended until September 14, 2023. A decision in this regard was taken at the second meeting of the Commission for awarding the National Prize, chaired by Prime Minister Dorin Recean, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.

Following  Recean's proposal and with the unanimous agreement of the Commission members, it was decided to extend the period for the submission of files to ensure access to the contest for potential candidates who failed to meet the previously established deadline.

According to the Commission's decision of June 30, stages II and IV are merged. Notorious people can sign only one letter of recommendation. Also, the files and recommendation letters are submitted simultaneously, exclusively in electronic format, to the e-mail address: cancelaria@gov.md by September 14, at 5:00 p.m.

Annually, the government awards up to 10 national prizes during the events dedicated to Independence Day. The National Award consists of a diploma, a medal and a monetary reward, worth 100 thousand lei.
