Two other bridges on national public roads to be rehabilitated

Chisinau, August 14 /MOLDPRES/- Two bridges on national public roads will be rehabilitated. These are the bridge R3 Chisinau – Hâncești – Cimișlia – Basarabeasca – border with Ukraine, km 95,740; and G109 Delacău – Bulboaca – R2 bridge, km 23,850. The State Road Administration (ASD) announced today the signing of the contracts for the rehabilitation and remediation of the damage to the two bridges.

According to ASD, the value of the project for R3 bridge is about 20.5 million lei (1 million euros). Another 17.1 million lei are needed for G109 bridge.

The works aim at restoring the functional properties of the bridges, thus ensuring safe and comfortable road traffic.

There are a total of 6,800 bridges in the Republic of Moldova. 877 of them are under the ASD management.
