European Village: Mârzești kindergarten modernized

Chisinau, August 16 /MOLDPRES/- The kindergarten/gymnasium in the village of Mârzești, Orhei district, was modernized through a project included in the European Village program. The government allocated 1.2 million lei (60 thousand euros) for the rehabilitation of the institution and the creation of best learning conditions.

According to the National Office for Regional and Local Development (ONDRL), among the major works carried out in this project is the renovation of the roof and facade.

As a result of the implementation of the project, more than 170 children who attend the kindergarten and gymnasium in Mârzești now enjoy better conditions for learning and development.

The European Village program includes 497 local development projects, of which 160 were successfully completed. Of the total completed projects, 41 aimed at modernizing the infrastructure of educational institutions.
