Prime Minister discussed with Moldovan diplomats gathered in Chisinau

Chisinau, Aug. 17 /MOLDPRES/- The promotion of the country's image in the capitals of the world and the main objective of the European integration of the Republic of Moldova were the main topics of discussion in the dialogue of Prime Minister Dorin Recean with diplomats in Chisinau, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.

The official emphasized the role of ambassadors and the MAEIE team in promoting the image of our country abroad. Recean referred to the need to increase the yield of economic diplomacy and to strengthen consular capacities, so as to deliver qualitative public services to the citizens of the diaspora.

"Internally, we focus our efforts on economic development, and externally - the main objective is European integration. I want to urge each of you to promote Moldovan products, to facilitate the access of our producers to foreign markets, to boost trade with the countries of the world, and to draw foreign investors in our country. The Republic of Moldova is advancing in many fields, and today we can be proud of mature industries through which we share experience and know-how", he said.

40 heads of missions are participating in the diplomacy meeting, held in Chisinau on August 16-17.
