PHOTO Moldovan General Police Inspectorate holds informative lectures on security during pupils' movement

Chisinau, 9 September /MOLDPRES/ - The General Police Inspectorate (IGP) carries out informative lectures on security during pupils’ movement to school, home and other public places.   

Law-enforcers recommend that children move only on sidewalks, not cross public road through other places but the specially arranged ones, which are signaled with road signs and marking. It is necessary that they cross the street only after they make sure thoroughly, only at the crossings equipped with traffic lights and only at the green light.   

At the same time, where there are no arranged sidewalks or lateral paths, it is necessary that children move only on the left side of the road and as closely as possible to its edge.  

Also, the police made several recommendations for parents: to permanently supervise the way children observe the rules of movement on public roads and to always remind them the traffic rules and the importance to observe them, by providing examples of good behavior in traffic.  

The information actions are held during the entire school year.
