Moldovan president discusses with head of European Union Partnership Mission in Moldova

Chisinau, 11 September /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu has discussed with the head of the European Union Partnership Mission in Moldova (EUPM Moldova), Cosmin Dinescu, the Mission’s achievements in the first 100 days since its launch, the presidential press service has reported.
At the meeting, the head of state stressed that the launch of the Mission in Moldova showed a better cooperation with EU on the security dimension. The Moldovan president thanked the head of EUPM for the work carried out during these months.
In late last April, the Council of the European Union established a civilian mission under the aegis of the Common Security and Defence Policy – the European Union Partnership Mission in Moldova. The Mission’s goal is to contribute to the consolidation of Moldova’s institutions, in order to better manage the crises and enhance the resilience to the hybrid threats.
