MEP Corina Crețu to visit Chisinau

Chisinau, 18 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- MEP Corina Crețu will pay a visit to Chisinau this week to discuss our country's European path. The MEP will do the best for the Republic of Moldova to become part of the European Union.
"The Republic of Moldova is an important country both for the European Union and for Romania, contributing to maintaining stability in the region and being an important support for Ukraine. As a Member of the European Parliament and European Commissioner for Regional Policy (2014-2019), I am glad I have contributed to bringing Moldova closer to the European Union and I will continue to do everything in my power for the Republic of Moldova to become part of of the European Union", the MEP wrote on a social media network.
Corina Crețu said she has several important meetings scheduled in Chisinau, including with Prime Minister Dorin Recean, Speaker Igor Grosu, head of the Congress of Local Authorities Tatiana Badan, EU Ambassador to Chisinau Janis Mazeiks, Romanian Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova Cristian Leon Țurcanu, Moldova State University rector Igor Sharov and rector of the Academy of Economic Studies Alexandru Stratan.
