Policemen document over 2,000 infringements of traffic regulations in Moldova on last days off

Chisinau, 18 September /MOLDPRES/ - Policemen documented 2,141 infringements of the road traffic regulations on the last days off.
According to the General Police Inspectorate (IGP), 741 drivers exceeded the speed limit, with most infringements recorded in northern Moldova.
At the same time, 150 drivers were sanctioned for the trespassing of the rules of use of the safety belt and 402 did not observe the road signs and the ones on giving priority.
Also, 19 drivers were removed from driving, as they were detected drunk and 48 drivers infringed the rules of stop and of giving priority to pedestrians and other participants in the road traffic.
