First three projects included in Express European Village Program completed

Chisinau, 26 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- The first three projects included in the Express European Village Program have been completed. 1.3 million lei (65 thousand euros) was allocated for the implementation.
Thus, in the village of Baimaclia, Cimișlia district, a playground was built, accessible for children of different ages. The value of the project amounts to 405 thousand lei, money allocated from the National Fund for Local Regional Development.
According to the National Regional and Local Development Office (ONDRL), a similar project was completed in the village of Cenac, Cimișlia district. The newly arranged playground will be able to be used by the about 200 children in the community. The investment amounts to 442 thousand lei.
In the village of Drăgăneşti, Sângerei district, the infrastructure of the central park was modernized. As a result of the implementation of the project, almost 600 square meters of pedestrian access ways within the park were completely reconstructed. The project was made possible thanks to the investment from the Moldovan government worth about 450 thousand lei.
The Express European Village program was launched at the initiative of President Maia Sandu to allow localities to implement rapid projects, in a maximum of six months, that require fewer financial resources. The program includes 399 local development projects.
