Moldova Support Platform, deputy premier: We will discuss how partners will further support our country

Chisinau, Oct. 17 /MOLDPRES/- At the fourth edition of Moldova Support Platform, we will discuss how the partners will continue to support the Republic of Moldova. Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Nicu Popescu made the statement today in Chisinau. He arrived at the event together with Minister of Foreign Affairs of France Catherine Colonna.

"Through this Platform, we had a lot of support last year in the management of the refugee crisis, the energy crisis, the budgetary-financial stabilization of our country and our approach to the EU. Today we will discuss again how the partners will continue to support the Republic of Moldova. Our actions in the future will focus on the support offered to the Republic of Moldova in the medium and long term and support for our accession to the EU", said Popescu.

Catherine Colonna said that the Republic of Moldova must be helped by its partners to face the challenges.

Today, the fourth meeting of the Moldova Support Platform is being held in Chisinau. The event is attended by representatives of over 30 states and dozens of international and financial organizations who come together to mobilize the necessary help in three main directions in the development of the Republic of Moldova - budgetary support, creation of an infrastructure fund and residential fund for energy efficiency.
